Help? My Baby Veiled

My Chamelon

Hey guys, this is my first baby veiled and I've noticed that my baby was shedding, but it all kind of happened at once. I just walked into my room, and she had dead skin all over the ground and on her body. She was climbing around her plants trying to scrape it off, so I misted that area a lot. I left her alone to do her business, and when I came back most of the skin off the ground was gone, and I noticed she was eating it! Is this a problem? Is there a better way I could have handled that situation?

She is fine, they will eat their skin. I have seen my veiled do it twice now. My geckos eat it every time they shed. You can mist her several times or give her a luke warm shower to help loosen it all, just domt put her directly under the water.

Thanks for the tips! Also, I'm a little new to this, and I've never showered her before. She's only a baby (about 4 months now) and I think my shower pressure might be a little much, is a different shower alternative?

Use a plant out of her cage and aim the shower at the wall. The water will bounce off the wall and onto the plant and chameleon.a warm misting will do the job too. Warm the water up in your spray bottle and spray her down for several minutes.
