I went to look at a Cham from a for sale site, and found this little girl?

What can I do for her? She had no UVB bulb (has one now, in a dome fixture, is that okay?) and had a bowl for drinking, no calcium supplements.

So are you thinking about buying her? First, I would tell the seller just how poor this little girl's health is, and if anyone offers to buy her they would probably not pay much if anything because of her condition. If you think you are prepared to take her on, you will need a herp-savvy vet and the $$ for treatment just to get her stabilized. You won't be able to correct her current limb deformation very much, but you can probably keep the MBD from progressing. She's very dehydrated in addition to the MBD. You won't know what sorts of internal organ damage may also be going on, so be warned. In addition to getting vet support and calcium treatment, give her correct UV lighting (you didn't say what sort of bulb she has now), well gutloaded feeders, and the correct calcium and multivitamin dusting schedule, and a lot of hydration.

What a shame anyone would treat a cham so badly and still try to SELL her!

I know she's dehydrated too, I've managed to get some water in her already. We picked up an exoterra 26w (former Repti Glo 5.0 compact). When I told the lady about the issues, she gave her to me, I bought her enclosure.

OK, that sounds a bit better! She'll benefit from full outdoor sunlight whenever the temp permits. Personally I prefer linear tube UV lighting rather than coils, as they light more cage area (which means the cham gets exposed to the light as they move around more). But, if this little cham spends most of her time in one spot because of her condition, maybe that won't matter for now.

Carlton gave you all the good advice you need, but I just wanted to say thank you for taking her and trying to better her health and give her the life she deserves. Shame on those people for trying to sell her!
