I went away and my mom took my chameleons out like I always do for sun and said they mated and she didn't know that was bad they are both around 7 7 1/2 months now and she hasn't ate since. I feel dumb I hope she doesn't die on me she's one of my favorite ones ever. She is 67 grams and has been for the past 3 days. Help call me a stupid asshole if you'd like

Accidents happen. Get a laying bin ready and you have to decide whether or not you want to let the eggs hatch. If you do you need a plan in place for the babies but keep in mind hatchlings are extremely difficult to care for

I've raised mine since they were hatchling. I'm worried about her not eating. She was well taken care of before this supplemented on a strick schedule at a variety of different feeders and now she just stayed hidden in her tree she has been in the same place everyday. I have a trashcan wroth sand mix in it and a little tub in her care so when she goes there I know to put her in the. This happened Sunday.

What are you trying to feed her at the moment? You have bred babies before? You didn't get yours from a breeder? Most breeders don't sell chameleons at hatchling age.

I knew what you were trying to say. I don't have a lot of experience breeding so hopefully some of the breeders on here will chime in with some advice. It's only been a few days so I wouldn't be too worried just yet.

I got them from a guy on here they were only a week or 2 old. The one female I got at 3 months but the other 2 were as big as my thumb nail. I used a 60 quart tote and a 6 % uvb with pothos and a few sticks for climbing. I know what to do when they hatch I used oranges and had them create fruit flies for them to eat and them moved up. It's just getting to that point lol.

I have been trying to feed supers dubai nymphs crickets wax worms. U gave horned more phoEnix and butter worms coming. I have seen her drink. I'm pretty good with them take really good care of them I have done a ton of research and still do to this day

What I did was put a cup on the bottom of her cage under where she is housing wroth feeders so she doesn'thave to come out and put some in her normal feeder cup. Her dripper runs almost every day and mister runs 4 times a day 2 mins 3 mins 4 mins 2 mins I use a 13 hour day for summer cycle

I have read that most won't eat vary much until they lay so I'm woundering if this is what is going on.

If she just mated Sunday, she wouldn't be at the stage of carrying that would cause her not to eat, maybe the male was rough and she is traumatized a bit. She'll do what she needs to.

It takes about 30 days pr so to lay so if your chameleon just mated she would not go off food immediately. That would happen prior to laying.

Ya I know that's what has me worried that's why I'm asking on here. I have read just about every article on breeding. I just hope she starts eating again very soon

If u have a food scale at home,Please weight her again,if u see the weight increases most likely she is gravid and get her a laying bin asap,so she wont have any eggbond problems, besides that, she will become more restless roaming up n down in her cage n looking for a place to lay all her eggs.

She ate yay I guess she was just scared. She ate 3 big supers 2 crickets and a wax worn and a roach thank goodness I was stressing out. I have one set up the little one is in her cage and when I see her getting in that I'll get her in the trash can. I used washed play sand. I also have hatch right ready for the eggs. It gets around 78 in my house on warm days how could I make a cooling incubator

She is up to 75 grams from 65 in 6 days. She's getting a little sun heard that helps them while gravid. She's the normal peach and black
