I Have just purchased a Zilla Tropical 25 T8 15 watt uvb fixture from a local store called PET ASYLUM. THey are a complete !@#$%^/.......... Ive been viewing threads and this store wont take back the light. I have a PANTHER CHAMELEON. PLEASE HELPPPPPP Is this light ok? for my 2.5 month year old

Just about everyone on this forum uses either the Reptisun or Reptiglo 5.0 tube lights without any problems that effect our chameleons. I would take it back and get one of those. Oh, I see you said they would not take it back. I would just eat the cost of the light and get what I said.

Maybe try to sell yours on Kijiji/Craigs list or whatever you have for free classifieds in your area. Maybe you can at least recoup some of your loss.

If its a coil it's not as good as a tube. Reptisun 5.0 is most recommended for Chams, but reptiglo is what I can get at my local shop. Don't panic, but a coil just isn't as good long term.

I just replaced it with a repti glo 5.0
