hi guys my panther chameleon got a wired bubble on his tail i bought him from a guy on internet . i m not too sure about this bubble im guessing its a scar what u guys think ? is it a serious problem cuz when i touch this bubble he actually run away from me so i guess it kinda hurts him pls help me out guys thx !

Hi there . Welcome to the forum. I'm thinking this is a burn. Did he come like that? Can you get a cream called sylvadine from the pharmacy? Can he burn himself in your care?

ya the time i got him he got that bubble already . i asked the old owner about this bubble , he didnt response but my chameleon havent eat since i got him for 2 days. im worried about this. thx for the help man.

Two days is not long just make sure he is drinking. Put loads of foliage in the viv so he can hide. What insects are you feeding him?

he just drank some water XD im feeding him mealworms right now. hmm so should i get sylvadine from pharmacy? or should i take him to see doctor around me?

It wouldn't hurt to take him to a vet. If you do, take a fresh sample of poo with you to test for parasites. My boy had a bad burn which I left for a bit too long. He was treated with antibiotics and Flamazine which is the uk equivalent of sylvadine.
Mealworms are hard to digest. Try roaches, crickets. silkworms. All good.

uh i c. thx for ur help Kate . i think i will get sylvadine first, if thing goes bad , i will take him to a vet . right now im just waiting for him start eating. XD im in Canada btw.
