help for locale of my cham?

hi,help me for the locale of my boy panther.I'm confused because he changed color a lot(seller did not know).

I think you have a red bar Ambilobe. Your chameleon also has the colors of the locale called Sambava, but normally they have a distinct "u" bar where the second and third bar form in the shape of a U.. The second and third bar on yours comes down to form a V which is common on the Ambilobes.

Unfortunately no one can say with 100% certainty what he is, other than the breeder.

If you are questioning what he was sold as, not much you can do at this point.

A lot of panther's can be crosses and still look like a pure locale.

What was he sold as?

You are so right, but do you think it could be Ambilobe from what you are seeing?

Thx for answer guys.unfortunatly i take my cham not from breeder,and don't have any info(only that he is 7-8 month now). This not too much importent,but is goot for me to know.i will wait 1-2 month to see how change his color.thanks again

You are so right, but do you think it could be Ambilobe from what you are seeing?

It could be. But it also looks like those "European Mitsio" that are green/red, which I am doubting though. Don't usually see quite the coloration as this guy as a pure Ambilobe.
