Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon – Panther Chameleon, Female, 3 years old. In our care for all 3 years
Handling – ~Every 2-4 days
Feeding – Crickets, 2-4 a day usually, She has not eaten for 2 weeks!!! Gut-loading with fruits and veggies
Supplements – Repcal calcium without d3 – daily, reptivite once a month - there was ~1 month without calcium due to shortage at pet store
Watering – Spray bottle watering. Mist every day. Do see her drink every day.
Fecal Description – yellowish urinate – poop was normal but of course now with no food no poop. Never tested for parasites, but never had any problems with the girl until now
History – A couple of times in the past she has closed one eye and kept closed for long time, but with lots of flushing she got over it

Cage Info:
Cage Type – 24x24x48 screen cage, vines & fake leaves
Lighting – UVB-Zoomed 5.0 16" tube, and incandescent 100W soft white bulb for heat, 9am-8pm lights on
Temperature - Warmest spot ~80F, coolest ~65F? Used a Thermometer, night time can get cold but lower than 60F
Humidity – No corrections for humidity, just spraying, generally Toronto is relatively humid though 60-75%
Plants – Fake Plants now – wintertime the chameleons cannot use the wonderful sun room as it gets too cold at night
Placement – Cage is in studio. No fans, air vents, or high traffic areas. Top of the cage is roughly 8-9 feet off the ground
Location – Toronto, Canada.

Current Problem – HALP! Little to no grip, falling, NOT EATING, LOOK at those black spots! I do not know what the black stuff is, it appears to have been underneath a shed. Quite sure it is not a burn. She really isn't behaving well, moving very little and falling at night. Have a second chameleon in similar conditions eating same food sharing same water and temp. schedule, but he has no problems, do not want him to get any worse either, anyone have any idea from the pictures??

How close to the basking spot is the heat source? I've never used that large of a bulb before to get temps up that high

Chase

I have never seen anything like that. I would not mess around and get her to a vet and have it checked out. I don't think that is a burn, but am surprised you are only getting 83 deg basking with 100 watt bulb. Is you house that cold?

Are you sure that your thermometer is working correctly? I use 40 and 60 watt bulbs in my 6 cages to get basking temps of 78-90 degrees for my various species of Chams.

That does look nasty...maybe a fungal or bacterial infection. Definitely time for a vet to examine or sample the black areas ASAP. Doesn't look like a burn to me.
