help choosing the right feeding amount!?!?

Yoda is a young male panther chameleon who loves to eat, although we dont want to underfeed him we also dont want to overfeed him, how much do you guys personally feed your 3-5 month old chameleon or recommend feeding?? our staple food is crickets and he loves them!

we give him around 10/15 crickets a day and most days a treat like a nutritious grasshoper or moth , do u think we should feed him more he seems to constatly eat but we just didnt want to overfeed him so that feedback was very helpful!

If hes hungry keep feeding him. Mine ate like 2 dozen crickets/roaches when they were young.

Yep no such thing as overfeeding. Feed them as much as they're willing to eat. I have a 4 month old panther and he's scarfing down about 25 small crickets a day. Just be careful with crickets, you don't want too many hanging out in the cage, especially at night as they can bite your chameleon. Remove any he doesn't eat if you can.

we are very careful when it comes to the crickets because we know they love to bite and we do not like that neither does yoda! we will start feeding him more as he wishes thank u for this good feedback it really helped, do u know any good websites for ordering feeders online everytime we get feeders in a store they dont last as long?

Ghanns crickets are best ime. Give them a try, they dont smell, live long, very healthy.

I had the same concern. I kept two different batches, one from Ghanns and one from Bassett's in two separate containers. Fed them the same, cleaned the same, and fed them to two different Chams. No noticeable difference in either. So I fully switched a few months back. I should note that the free overnight shipping is ONLY for California residents. Otherwise you get 2-3 day priority mail I believe.

Not bad then, my thing with ghanns was how clean they were kept too. I dont know of anyone that had parasite issues using their crickets. I dont use crickets at all now though. If I ever try some maybe I'll check out the ones you mentioned
