Help! chameleon eggs popping

Hello! My female veiled laid 21 eggs September 9th, they should hatch in a monthish. recently i was candling the eggs, and blood vessels are developing, however, most of my eggs are producing this bright pink spotty pattern on the bottom. I was candling one of the eggs and it just popped and i threw it out.... i put the box back in the closet. This morning i woke up, and found one of the eggs popped all by itself. What is going on? what is this pink spot on the bottom? why are they dying? is there too much humidity? thank you!

Some of the eggs also seemed to sweat today even though it’s way to early in development for them to hatch. I took the lid off for an hour yesterday to decrease some of the humidity.

I definitely could be wrong but I thought you were not supposed to remove the eggs nor roll them AT ALL, I have heard that their yolk could crush them when it rolls and kill them.

I don't roll them. I just pick them up to candle them then i put them right back down in the same orientation. is that wrong??

It did smell, but there were very tiny embryos inside. the egg was still viable, veins and everything.
Sounds to me like they are all aborting. Bad smell = death. I'm not sure why, because there are many reasons that happens, but maybe one of our breeders on the site can help.

How often do you touch them? I know you should be "hands-off" of the eggs, because you don't know what could be on your hands, as far as bacteria, fungus, or chemicals. Plus, every time you open the container, you're disturbing the humidity and temp.

The temp is always around 70-75 I do take the lid off at least every week and I do not turn the eggs. I simply pick them up when I open the lid, candle them, and put them back down. Some eggs also seem to be sweating even though it’s was too early. What do I do??? The pink eggs still very much have veins in them and look healthy. Almost like a thin shell

It could be likely that it's oozing because of egg death. When I say disturbed I mean anything from touching, picking up, bumping, poking, etc. The veins don't just go away after the embryo dies. But what you are describing sounds like egg death with the eggs bursting like that.

Looks like a kind of slime mold! Too much handling contaminates them and rubs off the protection time layer that prevents bacterial, viral and mold growth. Too much candling can also cause problems!

Yes, it is wrong to handle eggs because you add all kinds of bacteria and oils from your hands. Eggs are porous, so you can introduce disease into the egg.

The red spots are probably a type of mold. Don't worry about it. When the eggs are laid, there is a film of antibacterial fluid that covers the eggs and usually protects them from. They can grow all kinds of stuff on the egg and the baby if just fine.

As eggs develop, they grow. If the shell isn't calcified enough, there are weak spots and sometimes the eggs split. There is nothing you can do about the poor egg shell quality, but if you do get babies, be extra vigilant about calcium and Vitamin D3. If the egg shell doesn't have enough calcium in it, I would expect the baby to be hatched calcium deficient.

I have not seen eggs quite like that before.....maybe it's because you mess with them. I put my eggs in a cool closet and leaven them along. It normally takes my eggs 8 months or so to hatch.
I recommend leaving them alone and waiting to see what happens. I sure hope you don't have deformed babies.
