Help? Blood mark on my Chameleon?

Hey I have been noticing this blood mark on my Chameleon for over a week now. I just got him about 1 week ago as well but I cant remember when I purchased him if he already had it So I dont know if this is a dried up bloodstain or if its a birthmark. It is a reddish color as you can see. Please I need help friends thank you. By the way his fine tho very active, green in color eats, and drinks

looks like a bite-mark from another chameleon before you got him. Should heal up fine. But it will take a while before the mark goes away.

Are you housing him seperately or together with another cham?

Does he seem sensitive in the area? Is there any discharge? If so what color?
