Help! Accidentally Gave Too Much D3

Hello all!

So really quick breakdown, after a years worth of research, my girlfriend and I decided to buy our first Veiled Cham, Atlas, in Tampa, FL. Everything has been going fine. Setup is good, elevated, dripper, misting throughout the day, temps are about 83 in basking area (he's about 3 months right now)

So here's my issue, We got him on Oct 28, 2017 and have been dusting his crickets with Rep-Cal With D3 by accident the last month for pretty much every feeding. (Just now realizing this, I know, I'm a friggin idiot) I was under the impression that we were only giving him Calcium w/o D3. So as soon as I found out I instantly pumped the brakes and stopped cold turkey. Its been about a day w/o D3 and he seems to be okay. I know that too much D3 can cause internal issues so I'm reaching out because although he LOOKS okay, I want to know if there's any signs I should be on the lookout for in the near future. I want my Atlas to live because he's been skiddish this last month and he's just starting to not see me as a giant chameleon eating flesh thing. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Well stopping is the first thing to do and you got that already. Then hydrate him to try and flush the excess out of his system and support him while it clears. You can do this with daily showers (see how to give a shower in the hydration section of the is site) or extra long mistings.
You can search old threads to find out how others have treated D3 overdose or toxicity. There was a good thread or blog on here that involved stopping the supplement with d3, hydrating and fasting for a short period of time. I have never personally dealt with this. I have been searching for it but can't find it. The chameleon in questions had symptoms. Look up gullar edema to see what symptoms look like.
If your cham is acting and looking normal you may have caught this in time.
