Janet, the last picture of him is just like the habitat the blue and yellow hoehnelii come from, with blue lichen and yellow moss. Beautiful!
You're going to have to get rid of the lavender flowers though. Lol

It's one of the plants I take photos on--they can bail off a branch and land in a bushy plant

No Lavender. Plumbago. If they bail off the branch they land in a nice fluffy Plumbago. Or a clump of Lily of the Nile. Both are the wrong blues for them but they don't get hurt.
 
First of all, those photos are incredible. Secondly, that is one stunningly awesome looking cham! Incredible species.
