Hi everyone, my name is Allie.

I have always had an interest in reptiles at a young age, past pets include Slash and Elvira my corn snakes which i successfully bred, a bearded dragon called Grok, a frilled dragon called Cleo and a very impressive black and white tegu called Boris.

I had to have a bit of a break from reptiles when my son was born but then Wilfred arrived as a surprise birthday present to me from my son and his dad! He is a Designer Cross Panther (nosy faly x ambilobe). He has settled in really well, eats loads and is very friendly already

I am hoping to find some like minded people on here and learn lots about chams as my little fella grows up!

Thanks everyone Here's a pic of my set up, I think I have everything I need including the Exo Terra misting system.



Also I use Repashy Superload and the Calcium plus. Is this enough or do I need some multi vit etc?

im not shure how to supplament panthers but i've heard of an all in one supplement. someone here will hopefully chim in and tell you about that. your cage is beautiful...but not quite right. we tend to use screen cages so air doesnt get stagnent. dont feel sad about useing that one beacuse it can probally work for a little while untilll you get a new one+ you can later use it for mini chams called pygmys(SUPER CUTE!) i did the same thing anyways


other than that substrate in general can be problamatic and you may want to remove it. this is up to up becuz i've never seen any problems when a healthy cham eats dirt. mine have actually eaten chuncks of dirt and been fine. i've seen it. but be warned there is a risk.

the care you put into makeing that cage shows and it really is very pritty. im going to link you to a thread i made and my chams homes. i use a method called Freerangeing(FR for short.) you will need a 5.0 UVB and mabey a basking. do you know the temps you need?
