Hello, my name is Matthew and i'm new to this forum. I have three chams; a female jacksons, a male veiled, and a male graceful. I've been a member of this forum for a few days, but work has made it difficult to get on here and post anything yet. I'll put some pics of all three at some point. ^^; my little veiled is still rather weak and recovering from malnutrition, he was a rescue case i adopted who just started making major steps in recovery the past two days! :)

Hello mate, and welcome to the best Chameleon forum there has ever been....:)
We like pics and videos of Chameleons here so I'm already waiting.......;)

Waves hi!!!

I look forward to seeing pics. You're a good soul for adopting a known problematic animal.

Actually he wasn't showing signs when I bought him, but I had a feeling he would as he was from a pet store. I got all of mine from pet stores because I know (in this area at least) that the price usually dissaudes people from purchasing them and they usually just stew away in glass cages too small for them with inadequet lighting until they actually DO have issues...I like taking them out of those situations :)

And Kiwi my female Jackson

They all look good, so good luck with the baby.........:)

Welcome to the world of chameleons! They are all nice looking chameleons...but that's middle one is not a graceful.

It's possible I may have misidentified that one, but it is still a VERY young chameleon, and some of the coloring it's displaying looks to be developing into that of a graceful's...the photo is also not of very good quality ^^; What breed do you think it may be and why? (I would just like to know for future knowledge) :)

Its from the dilepis group...it has flaps.
Does it have tarsal spurs?

Also...just noticed the bump on the veiled's left "arm".

It does have tarsal spurs :)

[in regards to veiled] And yeah, the little guy wasn't doing too good for quite a while :( A trip to the vet, meds, and steady calcium and vitamin/mineral treatment later and he began climbing consistently again three days ago

Glad to hear about the little veiled improving!

This might be of interest to you.....some subspecies' males have tarsal spurs and others don't...

Thank you very much! The little guy's [dilepis] enclosure is right next to me...everything about him looks so very much like a graceful, but I entirely missed the flaps ^^; but I guess mistakes are always bound to happen when getting a new species especially when I misidentify him before I buy him! Lol

I really appreciate your help with correcting me on 'Ngai's species! Now I just need to adjust lamp distance from cage and humidifier timer to readjust the room to his preference :)
