Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Caleb and have been a lifelong lover of reptiles and amphibians. I have had numerous pets over the years including a Jacksons Chameleon back in high school. I am finishing up my last semester of Graduate School and will finally have free time again and a schedule I can properly care for an animal again. I have been doing my research, getting supplies out of storage and cleaned up and looking to get back into the swing of things. At first I had thought about getting another Jacksons Cham, but after seeing some of the beautiful Veiled, Panthers and others that many of you have I am going to have a tough time choosing which route to go! I look forward to getting to know members and learning from you all. I'm sure I will have questions as begin the process of setting things up and reading through posts. Happy to be here!

Welcome. I've just started posting, but have lurked here a bit and it's packed with good advice. You have come to the right place and from what I've seen any questions will be answered. Have you kept any other lizards/ reptiles and how well did your first Chameleon do?

Thanks, the site seems great and I'm happy I found it! I have kept a few Green Anoles and a pair of Collard lizards as well as the Jackson's. Unfortunately I had to find my Cham a new home after having him a little over a year when I moved away to college. Since it has been several years I want to do my research and make sure I get an environment set up and stabilized before I start contacting breeders. I currently have the medium sized Reptarium I had kept the Jackson's in and will begin getting it set up.

Nice. You have all the experience you need. Just don't skimp (use your old stuff after a proper clean, but make sure you have a brand new uv bulb).Variety of small insects and plenty of leafy colour in the viv. Have fun, I'm loving my Veileds, but always wanted a Jacksons. They aren't as readily available in the uk, but I could have got one if I wanted. I got Veileds because it was the same species I'd kept before. Up to you but if I was you I'd go Jacksons again since it went well.
