Hello and love to everyone!

Hey guys! It’s been a bit since I was last online. I just wanted to send out a hello and love to everyone on here and all the hard work you all do! Happy mothers day to all the moms out there especially the humans and chameleons!

I’ve been missing my girl Nachito a lot recently, and was wondering? Hey how is all your scaled baby’s doing? If you would, I’d love if others could share some photos of their beautiful scaled baby’s! I miss the little grumpy faces and lollipop tails!!

On another note! I know I talked with a few keeps a while back about helping save the pothos that had survive from when I first took in Nachito, and I’m elated to share it finally sprouted new growth!

I hope everyone is having a spectacular Mother’s Day!

I think about Nachito a lot, as she's one of the chams here I drew. I'm happy your plant is recovering!
Here's a pic of my boy, Spooble. He's got a bit of a problem with his left eye, which is also the one he always faces toward me for photos. Lucky for him, I saved him his dignity by magic markering out the bit of urate he had stuck on his butt.

Hello Ghostbirb!
I feel you, with the nice weather here this weekend, it's felt pretty lonely without Sherbert. My arnold has kept me busy with lots of head bobs and cuddles though! We had quite a few flash-floods, and my little brother found a turtle which was attacked by our dogs unfortunately 😔
Thankfully, she's doing good! I took her into to my house to make sure she could walk, eat, etc. Her poor shell was cracked on the bottom, so we have to watch that. But with the help from a few vets, she should be back to normal very soon! Here's some pictures of her!! Her little house has a lot more hides and a dig box now, away from all cats and dogs. (Extra arnold pics also :)

I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how Nachito’s pothos was doing. So nice to see it’s got brand new growth. 💗 I think about Nachito quite a bit too. You both touched so very many hearts and are superstars. 🤩 I hope you’re doing great and that life is giving you all of the happiness that you deserve. 💗
Stella is now 6 years old and still as fierce as ever.

Who can say no to showing off their pets?!

This is Littlefoot out and about today. She's miraculously getting more friendly as she gets older! I hand feed her something everyday, even if it's just a single little bsfl on her non-feeding day. She runs to me whenever I open her cage door LOL!

This is Mr. Jack. He's super shy, but then I've only had him for 17 days. The one time I held him I was surprised how strong his grip was! He's not 100% sure of me yet, so isn't so keen on being held. But he's eaten out of my hand a few times and doesn't run away... it's been really interesting seeing the difference between a Jackson and a vailed!

This is Luke, he helps me on stick finding adventures for Littlefoot and Mr. Jack.

Spooble is such a cutie! I wish you luck with his eye! I’m still so so so grateful and impressed by the drawing you did of my girl! I have it favorited and saved in my phone as a memento 🥹

I hope you are doing well! Sending you love, I guess the loneliness never really leaves after loosing a pet. I’m glad you have your other scales baby’s to keep you company! I absolutely adore that photo of Arnold!

Spike says hi! He is wondering when he's gonna get his beloved silkworms again (I haven't had them all winter - spring because they weren't surviving in the new house). I'm gonna order them soon, but other than that he's been great 😂

I would be wondering that too spike! When and where are those silkworms??? 🤣 glad he is doing well!!!

Hi Mia,

All good here and the crew says hi as well

We're missing the warrior queen as well. How's college?
Hey Sonny! Hope you are doing well! Love that photo! Such a beautiful cham! College is going well! Finally free from my finals and am home for the summer! Have to say it was a good year overall! It also means I get to see my feathered baby’s again? I missed them!

Aww omg I love both your chams and your pup! I wish I could give them all a treat! Thank you so much for sharing these cuties!

Thank you everyone for sharing! I’ve been super spotty on checking in here, so coming back to all these photos really made my day! We have even more growth from the pothos! I’m really hopeful to start seeing new leaves and vine growth within the next month! I hope you amazing people continue to have a glorious home! I wish I could also give a yummy treat to all your chams! They sure deserve it for all the grumpy looks they give us!

I thought I saw Australian shepherd in him…blue eyes and colouration! When I was a kid, I lived in a farming area and my friend and my I used to ride her horse out into the fields and take her Australian shepherd dog with us to bring the cows in to be milked. Most cows came in by themselves, but a few had not learned to do that yet. She gave the dog commands and he did the work.

Does your dog have hearing issues or vision problems?
Blue-eyed non-merle Aussies are not prone to congenital deafness…but some of the Merles do have issues. I think yours is part Merle. I’m no expert on this…but I find it interesting.

Sorry @Ghostbirb …didn’t meant derail your post.
BTW…what’s the gecko’s name…and when are you getting another chameleon?

They're so smart! I never got him into farm work, but he's really good in his agility class. He's trained to follow my hand signals too, so I don't even have to talk to give him commands.

He is a merle, I even did the genetic testing on him, because I wanted to breed him. It's usually the double merle's who end up with the genetic issues. A double merle is when each of the parents carry the merle gene, it causes defects. It's also usually the ones with a lighter colored coats and blue eyes who are particularly affected. That's why I had to have him tested. When I was looking for a mate she would have to have also been tested and not carrying the merle gene.

He's totally healthy, EXCEPT we did have a frightening medical emergency last month.... It's a bit of a long story. We were just playing ball in the park at lunch, he was running fine; and then did like a random summersault and landed with his front end facing the ground and his back end facing the sky. I ran to check him, and nothing was broken, but his back end wasn't working. He was scooting around on his front legs, dragging his back end, howling. He was diagnosed with fibrocartilaginous embolism, a fancy way of saying he had a stroke in his back. It usually happens when dogs are over active. He couldn't use his back legs for two days, and we weren't sure he was ever going to walk again. I had to buy a special harness to hold him up and walk him around. The dog trainer was suggesting I fund raise for a wheelchair. The vet was saying I'm going to have to do rehab with him for three months to get his legs to work again. But because he's so young (just about to turn 4) he recovered really quickly! He's back to about 70% normal, only having some issues jumping and standing for too long. So, I'm not going to be able to breed him in the long run.

Also sorry to derail your post @Ghostbirb. Speaking of pups, the top photo of the gecko reminds me one looking in its food dish. ❤️

It’s totally fine! Love hearing about the other pets and pups!
As for the gecko, her name is Pizza Crust!
As for another chameleon, as of right now, no 🙁
I do want to adopt another one, so the supply’s is all going into storage rn, but due to being in college, I believe it’s probably best to hold off until I’m all done or I have a stable job and such. But in the future, I absolutely want to get another cham!

it’s totally fine! I love hearing about all your pets! The funny thing is, the photo was taken when she was trying to find some silkworms, and somehow she didn’t see the one in the bowl, so she was just stanced up and staring.
Spike finally got his Silkworms again this morning. Hasn't had them since the fall lol
