Hello all! I know nothing about chameleons!

Hey all. I've been in the dart frog community for about a year now and am designing a 29 gallon for the living room. It's not too big but I plan on it being a show piece. I think I might try chameleons as everyone in my house always liked them but I don't know anything about them. So I have a glass cage set up with a few plants, which leads me to a few questions. First, are all dart frog plants ok with a pygmy chameleon (pygmys seem to be a nice species for a small glass cage) like small ferns, bromeliads (neoregelia) creeping fig, etc? Second, is a full glass top of with some types of chams? Thirdly, since I keep PDFs I have tons of fruit fly cultures to feed to chams if needed, i'd rather not go back to keeping crickets (i've also kept bearded dragons and other herps for a long time) I'm sorry if I sound like a noob but i'm ready to learn!
