Heelp heat stress

my cham is getting a heat stress
he is very weak, he dosnt move
i don't know what to try.
i gave him water, i took him to a cooler room
but nothing he is very bad

maybe from the room where he is at, i exactly don't know,
he has a basking light of 75w, and a 10uvb light
he was very fine till this morning he defecate wear and some minutes ago i saw him very pale

what is causing the so called heat stress? Your temps, lights, what?? How is he getting overheated is what I am asking? Are you providing water properly? His eyes look sunken in which can be a sign of dehydration.

i gave him water every day, several times a day, with a spray over his cage, and directly to the mouth he liked that

Unless your ambient temps are super high, heat stress should not be an issue. To me he just looks very dehydrated. Please fill out the ask for help for provided as a sticky in the health forum. Pictures of his enclosure are also important to diagnosing the problems with your husbandry.

He is in the need of a shower. You can put him on a perch in the shower and have the water bounce of the wall onto him. it should be a light misting and it usually makes them drink. You should also provide a dripper for at least 2-3 hours a day.

Just because he is pale does not mean he has heat stress. It would have to be extremely hot and nowhere for him to cool down in order for him to become overheated. Please fill out the "ask for help form" in the health clinic. Copy and paste it and fill it out. We really need all the info on your set up, cage temps, how long you have had him, etc in order to really help you out.

80 degrees is not going to cause heat stress. There is something else going on with him. I live in Florida and my temps outside all day are far higher than 80 degrees many days and they do not get overheated.

80 degrees F? 80 degrees c is like 176 degrees F or something and that is not right. Yes that temperature is too high. How long have you had those high temps? what state/city do you live in?

I dont think a quick spell of those high temps would have caused your cham to look like that. He needs to drink water.

Have you had a fecal done for parasites?

It would also be very beneficial to get a live plant in there to up your humidity.

I did not think he could have meant 80c. I thought it was a typo cause at 176 degrees a human would have heat stroke too!

actually this weekend i ordered some new artificial plants, branches and one living plant, but i haven't yet, and today he started to be like this.
he has been with me for about 6months, he is like 8months, he has the uvb and basking light only at day

ok. So like I said, that temp is not going to cause heat stress. So why not fill out the form and give us all the info so we can try and help you. As stated, his eyes are sunken in. That could be dehydration, but when chameleons start going downhill sometimes their eyes will start sinking in.
