Actually red bulbs are not really recomended. White mimics the sun better than a red bulb would, as you are trying to create an environment closest to what they experience in nature. You can just use an ordinary white housebulb, the same kind you would use in a lamp. what wattage you use will depend on what temp you are trying to achieve at your basking point. Also, lights at night are not advised as most chameleons sleep is disrupted by light. If you desire heat at night, you can use a ceramic heat emitter bulb and screw that into your dome instead of the light. I see you ae from Tijuana, so I am not sure what is available to you there.

During the day, normal bulbs are fine and what I have used for many years.

At night, it is best not to use any heat unless your temp drops very low. This allows the chameleon's metabolism to slow and is more natural. Not sure what type of chameleon you have, but 50 at night is OK for panthers, 40 is OK for veileds and jacksons.
