So I have a chameleon ReptiBreeze medium, 18" x 18" x 30" for my juvenile veiled chameleon, I feel like it isn't warm enough so I was curious as to what wattage bulb I should use, I use a 50 watt daylight blue bulb for heat, it just doesn't seem warm at all. Thanks in advance.

measure your temps first before increasing light.

if your basking temp is around 84-88 then hes fine.

if not then you can increase the wattage. but we cant tell you what to use because youll have to play around with it to figure out which one works best for you.

I used to use a 50w bulb during the summer, which seemed to be fine with the ambient temperature in the house. When the temperature started dropping up here for winter, I needed to up to a 75w to maintain normal temperatures. Get a decent temperature gun and try a 75 watt if you are not meeting your required temperatures. Also, keep in mind if you live someplace that has multiple seasons, you are probably going to need to modify your setup a couple times a year as the temperatures change.
