Heat source at night??

Its now starting to get cold at night in the UK and I just wondered if any of you use some sort of heat source at night?

you have a panther cham? just going by what is in your avatar. Most of us do not use heat unless temps get belwow 50. So unless your house is going to get super cold then your chameleon should be fine.

There are ceramic heat emitters that screw into a regular light socket but only give off heat. If your house really does get that cold, I think one of those would be the way to go.

One thing I don't know: should they be put at the top near the basking bulb or further down the cage? My feeling is that as the ground retains heat longer at night, their instinct during a cold night would be to move lower, but I really don't know.

Ok thank you, I should be ok for the next month or 2!! Il just keep an eye on the temps, yeah he is a panther nd it's my 1st winter with him thanks for the quick reply
