my new panther cham has been spoted at the bottom of her outside inclosure eating slugs and i removed her to find out if slugs are bad for them?

What is in the bottom of the cage? Dirt, supstrate of some kind? Or are the slugs in the plant soil? It is recomend not to use a substrate for most chams. Plain bottom is best. But I would not let her eat them. Also she may be at the bottom because she needs a laying bin to dig in.

If you have plants in your outside enclosure the I would clean out the soil and then put in new, and cover the soil then with large river rocks just as you would in your inside enclosure.

its back yard dirt and we havent sprayed poison in over two years and she is only 7 months do u still think she might need a laying bin? i have noticed she is not intrested in crickes as much as her two sisters

two of the sisters are in the same cage but its a 9 feet long by 4 feet deep by 6 feet high cage and the other girl is in a 6 foot high by 4 wide and 4 deep.

What species are you keeping? 808 in the 310 makes me think Jacksons.

i have jacksons both kenya and mt meru 2 mt meru and 3 kenya jacksons and 5 panthers 1 ambanja male one year old one ambilobe male one year old and 3 female ambilobe 7 months old
