This is Kamo. I got him when he was just a tiny baby no colors. He is 10 months old now. This forum helped me a lot to understand his needs and general caretaking of a veiled chameleon. He has grown massive and seems to be in good health just wanted others opinions on if he looks healthy and if his habitat seems efficient for his needs. First two photos are most recent within last week
I’m not the best at judging distance from a pic, so I do just want to caution if his casque is too close to his basking light. Do make sure to check the temp at that level (I use the end of a wired probe to judge the air temp at casque level) to make sure it’s not too hot. I guess an easier way might be to hold your hand at that spot too. If it’s uncomfortably hot after a minute or so, it’s too hot for him. He looks fantastic and healthy. You’re doing great!
