Headlight roaches

Anybody here use them. I think I remember a girl north of me saying she used them. And that they kinda have a bumble bee look to them. I got a starter colony at the Pomona reptile show this last weekend. So will be awhile before any parsons get their tougues on them.

If you don't know much about them I would just worry about them being able to climb lol definitely need a ring of vaseline on the top of the container to be sure. And I see the bumble bee :D

Sorry I can't contribute to the situ, but eeeeeek! That beast combines some of my biggest fears! Bumblebees and cockroaches! We had a green banana fly out the box and sneak down a hole in the cabinet yesterday, I had a coronary! I did catch him though :)

I used them for a little while but they made me mad because they would just jump off the screen to the bottom of the cage to hide and they are a small roach species to ..... I changed to Halloween hissers and tiger hisser colonys because they are bigger and look like a huge bee ;)

O'yes. I think it was the halloween or tiger hissers that the other person was using. My parsons are wiping out my dubia's (just baby doobs left). And I'm always looking for new feeders for the big chams.

Well imo the best big feeder roaches for your crew would be discoids,Dubia,Halloween hissers, tiger hissers, peppered roaches and 6 spotted roaches.... I have colonys of them all and. My parsons loves them all its a color change and shape and size change so they don't get bored..... All those breed fast and good. But the peppereds they only give birth 3 times a year but they are the thickest biggest roach ever I weighed a gravid female of mine and she was getting close to the 15 gram mark at 5in. Lol. If that feeder roach dosnt fill a parsons up nothing will lol.

Lol doobs :) that's to funny....... I was just thinking if you just need one other roach colony to help with the hit your dubias are taking instead of all of those different ones ..... Just get the Discoids they are the same as Dubia as for care and breeding but the up side to them is instead of it taking 6 months for a Dubia to turn adult the discoids turn adult at 3 months and the nymphs after a month are almost as big as a adult female Dubia :) so they would give you a faster turn around on feeders
