He or she?

This was sold to me as a male panther chameleon. I have been told recently it may be female. It is almost 5 months old. Just looking for some more opinions. A little upset if it is female, but wouldn't change it for anything.

Hi Nancy. Do you know what kind of panther it is??? I think it is a male by the tail. Looks to have a little bulge to me. The females have a thinner tail. The coloring at 5 months could still be male. Females have orange and peach, but males can have orange also.

I agree with Carol on male. The first picture you can see a bulge at the tail base.

Thanks for feedback! Being a newbie when I shopped, I didn't ask what kind. He said he should have colors of bright green with some red stripes. I have been trying to email him about what kind and have not heard back. Guess I will find the number and call. Thanks again!!

I just heard from breeder and Newton is an Ambilobe.
