My new panther cham from the Chameleon Company (thanks Jim!) arrived this afternoon. He's a nice big Ambilobe. No fancy bars or colors or anything - I just think he's gorgeous!

Sorry for the bad shots - I want to let him get settled. He stepped out of his bag like a perfect gentleman and began eating and drinking immediately. He did also eat a branch, but maybe he just needs to get used to his new place :D

Wow, he is big - Jim has some quality chams - I have a male and female oustalet from him, and they are beautiful, fat and happy. Keep the pictures coming! Have you named him yet?

He is gorgeous!

Jim does have some nice chams. Out of the ones I've seen, I would be more than happy to own one from him.

Heyyyy, I remember your posts when you were thinking about getting back in. Is this that first one? Congrats, if he is. Anyway, my first thought was geez! what a monster. And then it was that I bet once he's settled in a bit more you'll start seeing more fancy in the bars. Also, I'm certain a big, established cham like that will have no problem if you decide to move out of state. Nice choice!

I wanted a big guy - I believe he's around 14 months old - because I didn't really feel like dealing with a baby. He's my first cham in over 7 years so I wanted to take it slow.

So far, he's been extremely mellow: no hissing, lunging, biting, etc. He ate out of my hand right away and doesn't seem to mind me watching him too much as long as he's down in the foliage. He did do the 'spinning around the branch' trick and the 'walk like a leaf' trick when he was out in the open, though :D

I'm definetly getting an Ambilobe from Chameleon Company when they are ready in ~10 weeks. Thought about grabbing an adult he has available right now, still may...

Got this guy from Jim and completely satisfied!!! He is only a hair over a year old! Still little small, but damn he packs a mean bite!

[/IMG], I named him Alastor!!! lol he goes out of his way to bite me! foreal, lol its funny as hell. I have such trouble switching him to his outside cage, he literally jumps! off my hand!

I just bred him to a couple females :) He went at it like theres no tomorrow!:D

cool name IMO -

In Greek mythology, Alastor is an avenging demon, associated with blood feuds between families, and the Greek term for an avenging power that visits the sins of the fathers on their children. It is also an evil genius of a house that leads a man to commit crimes and sin. He was originally a mortal, the son of Neleus, king of Pylos. He became a (minor) demon when he and his brothers were slain by Heracles.

Wow! Amazing. Not sure which Amb. bloodline I'll be getting but I'm sure Jim will have pics of sires as well as the juvies for sale.

Man, he is a monster!!! Great pics, and I hope he brings you joy for a long time to come!! All these beautifull panthers are making me want one!!!!

Jim has AMAZING chameleons! I have purchased three from him thus far and plan on acquiring many more in the future. The last male that I just recieved last week was one of his "big boys" and is one of the largest panther chameleons I have ever seen...and he's only a year old! Chameleon Company has quality chameleons for sure!!
