He caught his first cricket in 35 days!

That's so awesome!! Good for him! Told ya he'd get there. ;) Did he actually shoot his tongue out a good distance or was it kind of short but still effective?

Thank you Stan!....no use of the tongue, he just has to catch them like any other type lizard, he still doesn't have much confidence doing that way but he is learning.

Thank you Dayna, didn't shoot his tongue, he tries but he couldn't catch anything so he has to catch them like any other type lizard.

What a relief that he is learning to eat and find food. He is a tough little guy, i am glad it goes well for the two of you.
 
That's amazing that he can adapt to his new handicap.
Seems like he would have a hard time catching prey unless you help him
out a bit and maybe cut a few legs off :eek:
