Hawk Moth!!!

I was out back checking my veggies and there was a Hawk Moth, specifically a Five-spotted Hawk Moth, hanging out on my tomato plant. Now I know Hornworms that I've picked off my tomato plant are not good for chams, but what about the moths? From what I understand the Hornworm empties its stomach before going into a cocoon, so would that make the moth edible??

I agree, normally I err on the side of caution anyways, but this guy is so big I figured I HAD to ask. Ahh the meal that could have been....
