Hawk moth, too big?

She even did a couple laps around afterwards

Had to get her steps in after that

I only hatched 1 out. And when I saw how freaking large it was I never did it again. I kept mine in a butterfly cage thing and gave it nectar and a plant because I am a sucker and could not hurt it. It was beautiful when its wings fully dried out and it could fly.

Oh man i just have one hatch and holy cow it’s huge, I wasn’t planing on feeding the moth to my girl as she’s small in general but dang these moths are bigger than expected!
It jump scared me when I saw it in the butter fly cage thing I have.

Don’t judge but I saw one in my flowerbed once. It was so big I thought it was a baby hummingbird until my hubby told me it was a moth.

Yeah they really are big lol
