Don't see these CH too often, Furcifer verrucosus, Madagascar (Giant) Spiny Tailed Chameleon. Here's one at about two hours old. Had a clutch start popping early today. Same size as panther hatchlings with the same incubation protocols and duration. These are two shots of the same animal. Enjoy !

Another highly underrated species! It's cool to see something a little different hatch out. How many eggs were in this clutch?

Appearance

Here are some pictures of sub-adults that are what is expected in adult coloration. Someone asked how many eggs, and in this clutch, the number was 24. They were also a clutch that was laid on top of the dirt, showing that if collected promptly, and then cared for normally, hatch is still possible.

aswome, TBH, i didn't think they'd have as much color as shown in those pics.

Awesome, I remember trying to source one of these in the U.K a couple of years ago and couldn't find any cb. Beautiful species:D
