Hatchling Questions

1. What exact care do new born hatchlings need? i.e heat lamps, UV lights ect...

2. It would be easier to aquire pin heads over fruit flys. If it came down to that would that be ok?

3. i guess im asking what exactually would i need/need to do the first week the babies hatch?

They need a uvb tube, yes.

I dont use a heat bulb for the first months (my chameleon room itself is not cold, not hot, just warm)

I suggest you use both pin heads and flies, plus other feeders. getting fruit flies is very easy - there are multiple suppliers in your province.

You will also need enclosures, supplements, gutload produce, hand mister or other method of watering, etc and plenty of time.

alright thanks sandra, I knew they needed uvb but iv seen pics of peoples baby bins with no heat lamps. Ill have to do some searching for the fruit flys when the time comes, As far as enclosures, supplements, gutloading, and misting i have that all coverd
