Has your aluminum screen corroded?

This question came up in another thread that had drifted off-topic, but I thought it worth asking (again).
A member was concerned about using aluminum screen on an enclosure because it might corrode.

I can see this as more likely with an outdoor enclosure due to acid rain & dissolved salts, but has anyone experienced this with an indoor enclosure using distilled or RO water for misting?

As far as I know it shouldn´t be a problem. Normal distilled or RO water shouldn´t corrode aluminum and if it corrodes it´s different then steel, you get some white powered substance, which you could brush-off easily.
