definitley get a smaller cage at first, i would say like 12x12x24 or something around that size... zoo med repti sun 5.0.. and your basking light.. make sure you have a way to water him down and to keep it humid there... ill take pic of my setup and show you how i have everything setup

if your not around much i would definitley recommend a misting system, so its always staying wet inside the cage and humid for your chameleon

i start off showing you the water resouvior and then to the pump.. i have digital timer.. a misting system will cost you around 200.. i think mine was 180 after shipping.. its a great investment but its not needed.. its just it saves me the worries of my chameleon not being watered all the time, also you would want to get zoo med 5.0 reptisun uv light.. dont settle for anything else.. little more expensive than the others but you get what you pay for... i use a house bulb for my bask light... 60 watts.. i live az so you might need something hotter but a regular house bulb could work, and for the inside get some plants , i have ficus benjamina, works the best and last very long, and then all you need is to get vines, and other stuff to hang, keep alot of space open but put alot in so he will be able to hide easily, they like to hide, thats there thing and from there its all basically how you feed him
