its been about two weeks since i posted last about my gravid female, and finally as i came home from school around 12 yesterday i look and saw she was at the base of her tree digging around. I was a bit startled haha and so was she, but since i have put sheets around all sides and left her alone so im hoping she lays sometime this week. here is a picture from about 2-3 days ago

Hi, I just read this post, and hope that you could help me with something. I didn't want to cross post by making a new thread about this, but you sound like you might be able to help me. I know a lot of people don't have actual dirt/substrate in their cham's setup. It sounds like you do have some in yours, as you said she was down on the bottom digging. I also have substrate at the bottom of my terrarium... I have eco earth coconut husk substrate that is about 6-7 inches deep... I just noticed that my female, Demi, has the bump near her hind legs, and has been spotty the last few days. She is just about 6-7 months, so I know she is reaching sexual maturity and do not want her to get egg bound! If I have the substrate on the ground of her terrarium {she's in a 55 gallon} is she all set, or do I still need to put a 'laying bin' down for her? Hope you can help =) Thanks!
