To you and you chams too! Have you got much planned ?
Nope going to rest and recover. I live in Orlando and while we didn't have any serious damage due to the hurricane the 4 day power loss, disruption to routine, and subsequent clean up has totally wiped me out. I took today off and Monday is a holiday so I get a 4 day weekend to rest and sleep in. Phew!

How about you?

Ooh gosh! Sorry to hear that, must be extremely difficult during hurricane seasons! How do you guys cope? And with the lighting needed for your chameleons, do they hold up okay?

We stocked up on supplies at the start of the season. I have 7 pets so ensuring we have plenty of water and food is crucial. I took Yoda outside the days we didn't have power. Thankfully it wasn't too hot so he was able to bask and soak in UVB for about 30 min each day no problem. I just hand misted him each morning and afternoon as well with a pressure mister.

We do have a battery inverter to charge our phones or power lights as needed but the one day we powered his heat lamp we went through the battery super fast and it heated up the house (no AC) so we decided to just focus on having well timed outside sessions. Eat then bask! :)

The adjustments to the routine and getting back into the normal flow of things just takes time and energy. I have chronic pain and my partner has ADHD so we're more aware of those things than able bodied and neurotypical folks.

Anyways it's a part of life and I am very grateful for how we fared!

Sounds like you have everything figured out! Id be totally lost, I defineltey wouldn’t know where to stand! And yes I completely understand what you mean dealing with ADHD and chronic pain too, there’s a lot to think about!

Great way of looking at it and of course! Happy to hear you are all doing good !
