I was American McGees Alice and my boyfriend was the mad hatter.

Mine was pretty strange, I got a latex pigeon head, like a horse head, (oh the things on amazon) and then wore a big trench coat, it was very weird. I even made an Instagram for the pigeon head! It was fun seeing everybody laugh when they saw me.
