This is Charlie after his new uvb bulb came in! The one i had on him for his first couple of days was about 4 months old, so i ordered him a new one because the fresh uvb will do him some good regarding his mbd. Its way too cold here in PA to get him outside for some real sun
for those who don't know, i was contacted by my local petco to adopt charlie because the vet had confirmed he had mbd after i pointed it out about a week before. he has been on 3 drops of liquid calcium gluconate/carbonate daily and is being weaned off the more he starts eating his dusted bugs regularly. he's still a little shy about his cricket cup.
looking pretty good huh? only had him 7 days so far and he's barely showing any signs of his mbd besides a slight loss of balance on his dial rods and the bowing of his elbows which can only be seen when hes curled up.
