Happy Birthday Cortez!

This is Cortez for those of you who have not seen his threads. He's a 50% Nosy Be x 25% Ambilobe x 25% Ambanja Panther Chameleon. He's one of the slowest growers I have yet to see, but all of my Chameleons that I get at a young age seem to be the slowest of the slow. He's my friendliest Chameleon that I have, we don't get into arguments about not biting etc. I sound like I talk to them. Honest, I don't. He doesn't have a bad temperament, but he hates to be taken out of his cage. He's skittish, but he's my sweet little Chameleon. He's still under 30 grams for a year old Chameleon. He just turned one year old yesterday. His color seems to be dull and he's just not as impressive as I thought he would be. But either way. He's my little blue guy.

Happy hatchday Cortez! I think he looks really handsome anyway, small or not.

Perhaps try to get him outside as much as you can this summer. My Nosy be stayed pretty small until about summer (when he was almost 1.5 years old) and he just took off when I started giving him a lot of sun. Sun does wonders for their system that we can't quite understand yet, perhaps it may spark something in him.

That's what I have planned. All of the Chameleons are going to be outside as long as possible this summer.

Happy Hatchday!!! I think he looks like a sweet lil guy, reminds me of my Gizmo when he was that size. You never know he may just sprout one day

He didn't really get anything special besides a clean cage. And some outside of cage time today. I'm hoping to see him hit a growth spurt soon!
