Hanging a plant from the top of a xl reptibreeze

Sure can and it's pretty easy too. Basically you just need to lay something like a metal bar across the top of the cage from one side to the other to support the weight and then thread some fishing line through the screen to your hanging pot and back up to the bar.
I used a piece of bamboo laid across the corner of the cage and poked some small zip ties through the screen and back up to make a loop, then hung a small S hook from the zip tie to the rope/cord of the hanging pot. Sorry about the crummy pic but hopefully you get the general idea... It worked well but the metal bar and fishing line that I've seen others use looks cleaner/is less visible than my method.

Run a dowel across the top of your enclosure. Thread a loop of heavy weight fishing line or wire over it and thru your screen straight down and hang plant from that. If you don't go straight down from the sides of the dowel it might tear the screen when you put weight on it.
Or you can use a couple of self tapping screws to attach picture hangers to the inside of the frame.

Hey if it’s for the best a couple of small holes are no big deal .if you look at my pics you’ll see I used fering strips and 2 small holes drilled up through the wood, bolts and washers. I’m a old lady and it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out. LOL

I know this is old, but I have to ask because I’m so confused LOL. How did you secure the wood and metal beam to each other like that? You have the tip/end of the bolt sticking out the metal beam, with a nut to tighten. But where’s the head of the bolt? is it inside of the wood? if so, how is it staying in there? I don’t see how it wouldn’t just slip out and the wooden piece fall due to gravity. It would also be impossible to bolt ALL the way through that long piece of wood, or atleast very inconvenient. Sorry, just very confused and curious about how it’s held together!

I'm not the person you quoted but think I can answer your question: most likely, the wood is attached using a hanger bolt, fastened with what looks like a hex nut and washers. Hanger bolts are commonly used in wooden perches made and sold for pet birds, they are threaded as half screw, half bolt, and the screw is driven into the wood
