Handling veiled

My veiled female didn't have a problem with me handling her when we first got her, she would come to me even but only me. Now all of the sudden she hates me and tries to bite. How should I handle her to clean? I don't even know what happened, just one day she wanted nothing to do with me.

She's probably starting to mature. Around 5-6 months they start to become sexually mature and their personality often changes. Handling causes stress to most chams and stress kills. Keep that in mind.

When I need to handle my veiled every week to check his grip and over all health I gently slide a stick under his body and lift slowly. He grabs the stick and I pull him out.

Just an idea but I use a stick like pssh also.

Oh I know about the stress I only want to be able to get her our once a week to clean and check her thats it. Thank you for the idea!!! I will do that!
