handling veiled chams

My male never lets me touch me. If you hold them while they are young they generally let you when they are older.:)
 
yeah i see what everyone is saying it can be the same with many animals really because if you think about all these big cats on tv etc and other animals when they are hand reared and so on they seem to trust humans but if you tried to go near a fully grown animal that hasnt been handled before as an infant youll prob get bitten lol
 
I handled Butter form day 1, when he was about 3 weeks old. He probably tolerated me out of fear then, but now, with his big boy bravado, is fine letting me know that he hates me.

He tolerates me as a feeding machine. Yes, if he is interested in what I have in my hand, he will tolerate me more, but I don't tell myself that he likes me, he likes what my hand is bringing (dinner).
