Hand feeding

Trice just start eating meal-worms from my head yesterday. I know with some reptile you can't give them to many meal-worms because there to high in protein and can cause damage in there liver. So how many is a safe number for him?

He is a Jackson Chameleon. His age is one year and four months :)

A few a week tops. They should be classified as "candy" and given as a treat, and never in the food bowl.

You can try hand feeding some silkies, they are a much healthier food (Noogie refuses to eat them, but Smeagol lovel them).

They are great for hand feeding as they are soft and dont move around much

In other news on the joys of hand feeding, my ousl is 1/4 adult weight, and when his misses, he can drag the 1 gallon cut up ice cream tub about 3" across the floor. Im alittle worried about hand feeding a full grown one
