I woke up this morning to 8 little jackson babies. Not sure if she is done yet but I am so excited. They are just so adorable! None died so I am even more happy. I got them pinhead crickets but none of them have eaten yet. If anyone has any suggestions for me about these little ones, I could sure use it...
Thanks a bunch,
Jodi

imo, hydei ffs make a better introductory food than pinheads. what kind of setup do you have them in ? i assume you have separated them from mom, and have them in there own setup?. would also recomend max temps of about 80* and i wouldnt try to supp them for the 1st 2 mths. i have lots of threads relating to raising jacksons, just go to my profile and search all posts by xanthoman and you will likely find threads that interest you. would be a good idea to get some pics up asap, just in case you start having problems. good luck and congrats on the new "mess of little monsters", just in time for halloween. jmo

I agree try some fruit flies, my little girl is 3.5 months old now and she still loves them haha unfortunetly my colony is finally done i think, its lasted me from september 19th until now so you get a good long use out of them :D

Since they were just born, I thought most of them didn't eat till the next day or so.
I wouldn't be too worried day 1.

Thank you so much...I have been giving them the fruit flies and they are drinking water off the leaves of silk plants. They don't seem to be too interested in crickets as of yet but they are all doing very well. I posted some pictures of them on another thread to show you their cuteness...Anyway of telling male from female at this age? Just curious...I will try and find some of the threads you have to see if I can learn just a little bit more about them. I have had Jacksons in my care for almost 2 yrs now and I know how to care for the adults. This is a new female I bought recently from the expo so I beleive she came to me already pregnant...
Thanks again,
Jodi
