Hi, i live in the uk and looking for a decent budget mister, what are people's thoughts on the Habba mist? Are there any other options?

Habba Mist is basically an overpriced, loud dripper. You can take a plastic cup and poke a hole at the bottom and it would be better than a Habba Mister. I used to use it until I realized hand misting, cup dripper, and MistKing were superior.

I would be out from 8 till 3:30 tho, so is it worth it for humidity? And providing water when I'm out?

Mist king look great but my budget isn't that big, and it's hard to locate in the uk:eek:

The mistking is also a dream of mine.
I use a zoo med dripper on all day with a heavy misting first thing in the mornin and one after work and one an hour and a half before lights out.

I wouldnt recommend the habbamist to my worst enemy. Seems like they work for some people but the ratio of good to bad is terribly In the bad favor.
Habamist at your own descretion

I got a habba mist when I first got simba.

The spray is crap! I moved to using a little dripper and hand misting bottle as they were better than the habba mist.

They make a hell of a racket and don't spray for long enough. And u constantly have to fill it up!

I'm also in the uk and recently bought a starter mistking from vivarium land which I believe is the European arm of mistking itself. Ordered and received it within 5 days. I haven't looked back!

Spray is a fine mist and the whole system is so convenient and quiet.

Check out my other recent thread:

'mistking has arrived' for pics n a vid of it in action.

Good luck x

It would be adequate for providing water when you are at work. I highly doubt it can provide the correct humidity for you on its own since it is a glorified dripper (not a mister). I would recommend a heavy hand-misting in the morning before you leave for work and let the Habba mister do its work until you get back. Then hand-mist again when you get home from work. Shouldn't be too bad if you do that.

Vids

And also, Would it be possible for anyone who has a Habba mist, or can find a decent vid of the Habba mist post it!

Thx
