Just a question on homemade gut loading....
Is it a good idea to dust the gut load food for crickets/mealworms I read on several websites and it said yes it is, for calcium dust. I use exo terra multi vitamin dust, and calcium and rep-cal vitamin d dust... And to hydrate the feeders I use flukers Orange cubes.... We also found a spray called by zilla called "vitamin supplement with beta carotene" it says to spray approx 15 minutes before giving to reptiles, trying to figure if we should get it or not.

Dusting the feeders' gutload isn't really necessary if its a good quality food. If you leave the feeders loose in the cham's cage and they are not eaten fairly soon they will excrete their gut contents before the cham eats them. One reason they get a light dusting of calcium right before they are offered. The Flukers cubes are not all that great nutritionally on their own. I would not bother with the Zilla spray.
