Hello Everyone,
My name is Jether and I live in Mesa, AZ. The only pets I have ever really owned in my life have been dogs which I enjoyed raising and breeding, and Betta's. A few weeks ago I had to write a Natural Science critique for an English class and wrote a paper on Ecomorph and the Cape Dwarf Chameleon and thus my obsession with Chameleons has begun.
I came across Chameleon Forums via a comment on a blog, Much Ado About Chameleons, and have been scouring various other websites and resources to find out as much as I can about these awesome animals. Having never owned a chameleon before I am still trying to decide what I would like to get first. My first choice is the Panther chameleons (especially the Blue Bar Ambilobe and the Nosy Be) but as a first time owner I am slightly weary because of the higher cost and what seem to be stricter requirements with them. Jackson's are also very cool and are currently my second choice. I would really like to find a breeder in Arizona so I can check out the Chameleons in person. However, if anyone has any really awesome experiences with the sponsors of this site or a specific breeder and can recommend them I would be happy to check them out too!
Nice to meet everyone! Hope to have my own Cham very soon and share pics and experiences with everyone!
