I know I can feed my cam. Greens but is it safe to feed planted greens like still in the pot. I'm out or crickets and roaches the cold weather has me in a bind. PETCO is out of crickets to sell and don't wanna spend money on dead roaches. Really need some help here. She don't like greens just in her dish but she seems to like plants. There again the cold weather has me, not much to pick from in town But I did see some Collards at Walmart tonight.

You can offer some collard greens. You can probably find nuts and seeds at Wal-Mart. Just crush them up and feed them to your crickets when you get more. It is probable that Wal-Mart even has other greens and squash. Depending on the plant species, potted plants can be safe. (However, I would consider the soil and fertilizers used to grow them) Potted plants, like marigold, rose, and hibiscus are great to use for gutloading. In the summer months and if you do not treat your lawn, you can feed grass, clover and dandelion right from your lawn.

you can feed your cham collard green, romaine lettuce, cilantro, mustard greens, kale, spinach, turnip greens, carrot shreads. for fruits you can try banana, blueberries, pears, apples, peaches and strawberries. for the pears and apples make sure you cut them up pretty small because they are hard fruits.
if she doesnt like greens in her dish try attaching some leaves to the top or sides of her enclosure so she can walk up and munch on them :) she might like some of the fruits if she's never tried them before :)
hope this helps until you can get some more live food!
