Gravid?

My female veiled showed me her colors for the first time today. They were extremely blue and looked something very similar to this picture (not her). A few have commented on the possibility of her being gravid. She hasnt been drinking as much and i cant tell if shes just fat from eating everyday or has some eggs. Her approximate age and size seem to match up to the time of sexual maturity. I have already seen the obvious cases of coloration in gravid females so my main question is : Can gravid female veileds show colors like this?.

That means she is reaching sexual maturity, however; be advised that they should be refrained from mating since they are at least 1 years old minimum.

You might start to see some oranges as well soon.

Here is a Typical coloration (and temperament) of a female Veiled Chameleon who is gravid and displaying non receptive coloration.

There may be some variation in the gravid colorations that individual females show, however when showing non receptive coloration to a male, they will likely all be black with spotting and striping.

In the later development stages of the gestation period eggs will often becom visible near the rear hip bone. When palpated, they can often be felt in the lower rear sides.
