Gravid!

My female panther is a little over a year old now. The past week she has been a very dark black/purple with orange bars, went off her food and water to an extent and always at the bottom of her cage. I can also feel what feels like a couple jelly beans in her tummy At her abdomen like infront of her back legs if you get me?

Is this where her eggs would be or possibly just food I am feeling?

Sounds like she has eggs. Do you have a laying bin setup for her? If not please get one in her cage immediately!

Ok so she has been digging since lights on at 6 this morning and it's now 4pm. She has a bucket filled with damp sand which she has dug multiple holes in about 3 inches down. Should I be worried or could this last alot longer? If someone could reply quick please it'd be much appreciated! Thanks!

Edit: just seen your reply lol yeah she's got one in there all the time. The reptibreeze cage I ordered for her just arrived today aswell lol guess I'll need to wait a little longer to put her in it

She could dig for days making different test holes till she finds the one she wants to lay in. Be sure you give her 100% privacy during this time. She should eventually dig a hole she likes and will turn around and lay her eggs in it and then bury them.

Some girls will dig one hole and lay the same day where others might dig for a few days prior to finally deciding to lay. It is all up to her.

Good news! She finished a few hours ago! Took me forever to find the eggs lol she covered them up pretty good. She's fine now well hydrated and ate a couple well dusted locusts thanks!
