Gravid colors

Does it sometimes happen that female veileds do not show gravid colors? My 10 month old female showed the typical beautifull gravid colors in her pregnancy, my 14 month female lived happily with the male for 3 weeks with no problems and was definately mated, this was about 2 weeks ago and she is still just green. When I tried her near the male again she remained green although she wouldn't let him mate but was quite happy to sit beside him. She is getting quite plump so I just wondered if she could be gravid but not showing the colors?

I've never seen one not show the dark background color when she was rejecting the male.

I have seen quite a few of them lose the dark background color when there is no male in sight though....only to get it back when a male comes into view.

I wonder if she is gravid or not, she sits in beside the male happily every day now. I sat them out on plants in my living room today and about half an hour later she had climbed over to where the male was sitting (about 6 feet away) and was just sitting beside him, both as happy as can be, it's like she wants the company and he is quite happy to be with her and doesn't try to mate her.
